First elected in 2019, Philip is the federal Member of Parliament from Northumberland–Peterborough South. He is currently serving as the Associate Shadow Minister for Finance and Middle Class Prosperity (tax reform). Previously, Philip served as the Shadow Minister for National Revenue and the Shadow Minister for Federal Economic Development Agency for Eastern, Central and Southern Ontario.
Philip is currently a member on two standing committees: the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage and the Standing Committee on Finance.
